Sodastream Genesis

The Sodastream Genesis is a step up from the entry level soda and sparkling water maker in the Sodastream family.  It has a bit of a sleaker design, but basically very similar to the Fountain Jet.  It comes in either red or a dark grey color.  The Genesis uses “Stay-fizzy” closures that retain carbonation longer than store-bought sodas. It can also carbonate up to 60 liters of water on one 14.5 oz cylinder of CO2, but will not take the larger, 33 oz cylinders.  It’s compatible with both plastic 1-liter bottles and the dishwasher-safe PEN plastic bottles (sold separately.)  It’s made of durable plastic and of course, there is no electricity required to operate it.  All Sodastream soda makers come with a 2-year warranty, as well.
