One of the best things about having a SodaStream is the variety of drinks that you can make. There are many SodaStream recipes available for consumers to try with their soda making machine. Most of these recipes work great even for those who are watching their carb intake and calories.
You can make up any type of drink combination you think would taste good, and also try many of the SodaStream recipes as well. You can even use these recipes in food dishes as well.
SodaStream Recipes for calorie counters and carb watchers
One great tasting recipe for those who love iced tea is the Diet Harvest Iced Tea. Mix 6 ounces of diet lemon lime, 6 ounces of peach iced tea and 4 ounces of spiced cider all together and add ice. For an extra kick add a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
Another fantastic diet recipe is the Fruit Fizz. Mix together 6 ounces diet pink grapefruit, 6 ounces diet cranberry-raspberry and add an orange slice. This drink is very refreshing and cool for a hot summer day served over ice; this fruity drink would also make a great punch for a get together.
If you love root beer floats, you’ve got to try the Guilt Free Root beer Float. There are two variations of the root beer float to try. The first one mixes ¾ of a glass of diet Dr. Pete’s (which is SodaStream’s version of Dr. Pepper) and ¼ of a glass of diet cream soda. Pour over ice and garnish with a cherry. For those who love icecream, try 12 ounces of diet root beer and add 1-2 scoops low carb or low fat vanilla ice cream or lowfat frozen yogurt.
SodaStream Recipes for those warm days and nights
Nothing tastes better on a warm day or night than a delicious drink. For a delicious drink to start off your day, try the Morning Rush. Mix together 4 ounces each of regular or diet energy drink, orange soda and diet pink grapefruit. Pour mixture over crushed ice, squeeze a slice of orange in it and enjoy; a great morning pick me up. You can also substitute the diet energy drink for the regular.
Another delicious refreshing drink is the Sourberry Spritzer. Get diet or regular lemon lime, cranberry juice, lemon juice and sugar. (The sugar is optional) In a large glass, squeeze half a lemon into the glass, then add half a glass of cranberry juice and fill the rest of the glass with the lemon lime soda. You can also substitute lime juice for the lemon if you prefer.
Almost everyone loves lemonade, so be sure to try this at your next lunch with friends. Fill each glass halfway with lemonade and then fill the glass the rest of the way with SodaStream seltzer. Garnish with lemon slices. If you want sweeter drinks, add more than half a glass of lemonade. You can adjust the mixtures to your personal tastes.
Whatever SodaStream recipes you try, you can bet that you will enjoy their fruity flavor and delicious taste.
